Michel Bussi's new title is inspired by a poem by Aimé Césaire, New Goodness: “There is no question of handing over the world to the dawn assassins.” However, the setting is not where Césaire was mayor of Fort-de- for more than half a century, but its neighbor, Guadeloupe.
