Founder ofUpDronecompany of audiovisual production from Lons-le-Saunier, Tom Mauron is passionate about aerial photography.

For several years, he has been flying over the Jura using his drone to capture images that immortalize the most beautiful landscapes of the region.

In Lights on the Jura, he shares unpublished photosthe fruit of his attentive gaze and his love for the territory.

A tribute to the Jura and the light

Of the lacs shimmering with forests foggy, each photo is an invitation to discover the department under subtle and changing lights.

“In this book, the star is the light! Diffuse or intense, but always ephemeral, I wanted to share these atmospheres that I adore,” he explains. This second opus highlights emblematic places and sometimes little-known natural treasures, revealed from a unique angle.

The hundred pages reveals a Jura in constant metamorphosis. In autumn, the forest is adorned with flamboyant colors; in winter, the snow transforms the peaks into postcard landscapes.

“Each season, the Jura reveals a different face. I have traveled and I must say that there are few places in with such diversity,” he confides with stars in his eyes.

An evening to share your passion

The launch party will be held Friday November 15, 2024at 6 p.m., at the Amusementin Lons-le-Saunier. Tom Mauron will share anecdotes et techniqueswhile revealing the behind the scenes of his photographic sessions.

For visitors, it will also be an opportunity to learn more about the aerial shotwhich requires patience and precision. “I hope that this book will touch all those who, like me, are lovers of nature and sensitive to the beauty of our region,” he concludes.
