A fire in progress in the outbuilding of a house in Cotentin, police and firefighters on site

At the end of the afternoon, this Tuesday, November 5, 2024a fire broke out in the outbuilding of a house of the rue Grande Rue on the D67 has Cretteville (delegated municipality of Picauville, Manche).

Of the neighbors met on site reported smelling a burning odor vers 18 h 30while the owner of the place would have called the firefighters an hour later.

No risk of spread

At 8:45 p.m., firefighters, gendarmes and Enedis were always present on site. Four trucks firefighters would have been deployed, including a lifting arm.

While the surrounding roads are blockedthe emergency services met on the scene estimated that the flames would not spread to the neighboring housedespite the smoke who came out.
