the essential
Certainly, all this deserves confirmation, in particular the maintenance of the JP Capdenac in Open 2 and the Quatre-Saisons Pétan club among the ladies, two formations suspended from the number of teams from the Occitanie region possibly relegated from the Open 3 national championships (Palavas and Lalanne Arqué? Editor’s note) and women’s 2 (Labruguière).
However, following the third and final day of the group stage of the regional club championships (CRC), this Sunday, the nine Aveyron teams presented an overall balanced and, consequently, rather satisfactory result. :
- two certain accessions from Open 2 to Open 1 of La Primaube and the promoted Rieupeyrousain;
- of a qualification for the quarter-finals, on December 7 and 8 in Nîmes, of this same (well-named) Joyeuse boule rieupeyrousaine, but among the ladies in the running, therefore, for a potential rise to the national championship 2 promised to both teams finalists;
- at least one retention, that in Open 1 of Pétanque Villefranchoise, ultimately fifth (out of eight);
- and three relegations with that of Open 1 in Open 2 of the men of Quatre-Saisons and those in the departmental championship of the girls of La Primaube and Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance.
For Aveyron pétanque, another descent is also recorded, that of the women of Creissels who, after having withdrawn this weekend, in Montluçon for the second day of the national championship 1, are relegated to CNCF2. It was expected.
