Building on the momentum of its magnificent 2023 edition, the Trail des Bleuets is once again playing the autumn card. The jogging section of the ASBL (Association sportive des Bleuets labatutois) is organizing, this Sunday, November 10, as a preview of the Saint-Romain patronal celebrations, a new nature race in the open air.

This 16-kilometer trail will start at 9:30 a.m. from the municipal stadium, on a revisited route. On the program: a 200 meter difference in altitude with the borders of Chalosse as a setting, represented by the Butte de Lamothe and the surrounding hillsides, and the Gave de valley. In the large signposted loop, calibrated and punctuated with checkpoints, refreshment and rescue posts, all safety conditions will be ensured, with marshals all along the route.

Discover Labatut differently

At the same time, a second nature race of 10 kilometers is planned (also starting at 9:30 a.m.), it will take a variation of the long trail, with a difference in altitude of 140 meters.

Other events are on the program for this sporting morning, starting with a special 1,000-meter course reserved for children. Departure at 11:30 a.m., arrival at the municipal stadium.

The festivities will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the start of an 8-kilometer walk, without classification at the finish. A difference in altitude of 140 meters awaits walkers.

With very little road, all these routes will allow you to discover the town of Labatut differently, through forest trails and private passages which are normally closed to the public.
