The campaign to improve fish habitats continues in Aude

The developments on the waterways are carried out by members of the Aude fishing federation. They aim to improve routes and better monitor fish communities.

The campaign to improve fish habitats on the rivers of Aude continues during this autumn period. These facilities, light and inexpensive, are put in place with the help of volunteers and employees of the Aude fishing federation. This time, it is the work of the members of the Verdun Lauragais association, on the Tenten stream, which was highlighted by the federation, with the participation of two volunteer fisheries guards from the approved Association fishing and protection of aquatic environments of Saissac Montagne Noire.

These operations allow, according to professionals, “both the maintenance of a course, but also its monitoring of fish farming communities. A little help to help nature without massive intervention, which we measure through our inventory fishing”. The sentinels of the waterways that are the members of the federation are attentive to the management of the watercourses with a method which allows each of them to be involved. Note that if other curious people and enthusiasts of natural environments are interested, they can contact the federation to find out more on 04 68 25 16 03.
