Through the voice of its president Camille Vincent Schunk, the Saint-Gilles Animal Protection Association calls for solidarity from all for the sustainability of the place.
“We have been representing the new management since April 2024. We have found a very difficult financial situation and are looking for all the goodwill to overcome this bad situation and put us back in a stable situation for the sustainability of our actions”calls for Ludovic Massuel, secretary of the association. The latter welcomes 45 dogs, 30 dogs and includes employees.
The association is looking for additional funding from the town hall of Saint-Gilles with which it says it has “a mandate for the management of its pound and the association which takes over from the pound to avoid the euthanasia of dogs, after the legal deadline for taking charge of the pound”. The association is also looking for new sponsors and active volunteers to help them with various collection operations, etc.
