Every year, the Department of Manche puts the spotlight on the sporting world. For the 2024 edition, for the first time, the prizes for best sportswoman of the year, best sportsman of the year and best team of the year will be awarded by Internet users. They are invited to vote by connecting to the Manche.fr website, until November 14, 2024.

The list of athletes nominated for women, men and teams
In the best sportswoman category, the nominees are Marine Delanoë, sea rowing; Stéphanie Gohin, para-climbing; Youna Lemé, weightlifting; Caroline Osmont, race walking and Alice Robbe, tennis.
Men's side: Eric Delanunay, skeet; Julien Épaillard, horse riding; Paul Lapeira, cycling; Johann Lepenant, football and Guillaume Rurel, athletics.

In the best team of the year category, the Doublette Sport Adapté men's team – Granville pétanque, the women's artistic gymnastics team – La Saint-Loise Gymnastics, the OHS Cherbourgen-Cotentin women's and men's teams (archery ), the women's team – Granville Handball Secular Patronage and the Team Pirou Association (horse riding).
