Raise awareness, free speech, open debate…: Télévisions has been leading the fight against school bullying for ten years now. HAS On the occasion of the National Day Against School Bullying, November 7, a look back at the group's commitment to the fight against this scourge.

Pain sufferers: they manifest themselves : from February 2015, even before the creation of the National Day against School Bullying, France Télévisions broadcast this film by Andrea Rawlins-Gaston and offered on this occasion an unprecedented system at the time, including a dedicated platform allowing victims to express themselves freely.

A year later, the public audiovisual group broadcast the fiction Marion, 13 years forever. Adapted from the book by Nora Fraisse and recounting the drama experienced by her daughter Marion, a teenager who committed suicide in 2013 after being harassed by her classmates, this film will be one of the strong markers of France Télévisions' actions. Its impact will be considerable in the fight against school bullying, raising real awareness within society. The years pass, and the mobilization gains momentum, while tongues loosen.

In 2024, as a continuation of its actions, all of France Télévisions' antennas, platforms and social media are once again mobilized to support victims and witnesses of harassment or cyberharassment to remind people of the importance of prevention and listening.

Since 1is November, with the preview broadcast of the film Die at 13 of France 3 the page Bullying at school – Listen, act benefits fromreinforced promotion on the platform france.tv.

– On Thursday November 7 from 9 p.m., France 2 offers one continuous evening around documentary film Lindsay, the mechanics of harassment by Félix Séger. Its broadcast will be followed by a debate to raise awareness about the insidious and tragic cycle of cyberharassment.

Okoo et Be happy put themselves at a child's level to give the keys to understanding to the youngest and students, with, among other things, a special program in Okoo-koothe daily show, the magazine You are at the top on France 4 or even fiction Please. On the Lumni platform, a special file is accessible here, bringing together all the content and responding to three areas: What is harassment? How to act? and Cyberharassment. A “Harassment” segment is also permanently present on the primary and middle school pages.

– To deepen exchanges with schools, France Télévisions organizes in its premises a master class with CM2 and sixth grade students around the film The Indians counterattack by Guillaume Estivie with speakers and experts.

Culturebox offers a new film, A worldby Laura Wendel, and three short films on the theme of harassment from the collection Women's sequences led by the association Women and Cinema : a national image education system which uses the practice of audiovisual to give a voice to young people, particularly high school students from vocational and general high schools, in QPV and in rural areas or in the city. Students are supported by film professionals in the production of their short films.

Many other new programs, series, magazines or information meetings also accompany this mobilizationin order to raise awareness, break isolation, free speech, listen to young people, victims and witnesses of harassment and cyberharassment, by providing them with solutions to prevent and no longer suffer this physical, verbal and psychological violence.

– France Télévisions will relay, in its editorial system, the 3018a unique, anonymous and free number to report situations of harassment and digital violence endured by minors.

National Day Against School Bullying

The National Day Against School Bullying takes place each year on the first Thursday following the All Saints' Day school holidays. Established in 2015, this day is the opportunity for school communities and their various partners to organize various events within schoolsmiddle and high schools or more widely at the local level: conferences, awareness sessions, exhibitions, role plays, cooperation workshops, presentations of works in CDIs. Establishments are implementing various actions.
