At the end of October, the first store of the discounter Wibra opened in Lambersart, in the north of France. The opportunity to present this Dutch brand competing in particular with Action or Foir'fouille.
After Zeeman and Hema, it is the third brand from the Netherlands to set up in France. Wibra opened its shelves in October in 500 m2 premises in Lambersart, in the North.
The brand specializes in low-cost textile and everyday products. In a press release, it notably highlights its range of Dasty household products.
Among the various items offered by Wibra in its departments: objects for manual activities, clothing, accessories and bedding for toddlers, body and hair care, toys, kitchen utensils and even decoration.
A recovery after the Covid crisis
“The price-quality ratio is very good and accessible to all budgets. Our concept offers various assortments which aim to meet the daily needs of our customers. We are there both for customers on a limited budget and for good hunters business“, explain the brand's France and Belgium director, Claudine Nachtergaele on the ensegine website.
While the company experienced significant financial difficulties during the health crisis, it finally managed to turn things around. Today, Wibra says it has 300 stores in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The Parisian specifies that the brand had already opened an online store accessible from France at the beginning of 2024 and offers home deliveries to its customers.
