The penultimate day of the French Short Course Swimming Championships smiled on Béryl Gastaldello this Saturday.
The 29-year-old Marseillaise won in 56''07 over 100m backstroke, or 11 hundredths less than her previous record, which allows her to validate her qualification over this distance for the Short Course World Championships, scheduled in December in Budapest. She will be accompanied in Hungary in this event by her runner-up Pauline Mahieu.
