This morning, the storms are confined to the near Atlantic, but some showers may spill over to the east of the archipelago: Désirade, Marie-Galante and the east of Grande-Terre.
From midday, stormy showers are likely to occur in the mountains, the north of Basse-Terre and the north of Grande-Terre in particular. These intense showers may spread to other regions in the afternoon. The risk of thunderstorms and showers should gradually decline during the evening and next night.
Accumulations of around 30 mm in 1 hour or 50 minutes in 3 hours are to be feared. They could be accompanied by strong electrical activity.
