Sunday October 20, the Uxello cinema once again demonstrated its status as a cultural hotspot by hosting a tango concert that will remain engraved in memories.

Organized by Cauvaldor, as part of the “Resurgence” Cultural Festival, the 2024 fall meetings invite you to discover the values shared between art and sport: creativity and expression, perseverance and resilience, passion, discipline and rigor. These common values make art and sport activities essential to cultural and social life, enriching the human experience and allowing everyone to express themselves and surpass themselves.

legend, the talented baritone Omar Hasan was accompanied by the distinguished accordionist, regularly invited by the Orchester National du Capitole de , Grégory Daltin.

From the first notes, the room, filled with a crowd of enthusiasts, was carried away by the energy and melancholy of this virtuoso duo. They quickly immersed the Lot audience on the banks of the Río de la Plata, in the frenetic alleys of the Boca district in Buenos Aires, with a repertoire mixing classics by Carlos Gardel, violent cadences of Nougaro and contemporary creations.

Although the melancholic bandoneon has this depth of soul, the accordion, under the fingers of the teacher, transmitted this Sunday evening, the emotion, the rhythm with the nostalgic accents of tango.

Applause erupted at the end of each piece, but it was during the encore that the room literally exploded with joy. Under thunderous cheers, Omar Hasan, with the elegance of his talent and the genius of his gesture, then invited the room to a masterful “Corsican Tango”. Their hearts still cradled in poetry and passion, the spectators left with stars in their eyes.

Cauvaldor confirms its role as a cultural catalyst in the region and its desire to offer exceptional events. For this, we thank its president, Jean Claude Fouché, as well as the advisors Marie Hélène Cantarel and Freddy Terlizzi, and especially Valentine Boé for the organization of this event.
