The project won first prize in the BoostCampus 47 competition in September, organized by the Agen Digital Campus, thanks to its social aspect, but also with the prospect of creating 35 jobs within two years in Lot-et -Garonne. Handi Conseils, the winning company, already exists in Aube, created by Olivier Laurain, 53, and 19 jobs have been created there in the space of a year. A dynamic that we hope to see renewed here.
“Enedis, for example, asked us for a person to work 20 hours a week for a year”
Olivier Laurain has already managed several adapted companies in the past. “These are companies that must make money, like the others, while pursuing a vocation of employing people with disabilities. These people carried out a professional activity for a certain period, before a life accident forced them to stop for treatment or leave their company, for reasons of dismissal or incapacity. The problem is that it is not always easy to find a professional activity, even if you have skills and good experience. For example, there are necessary upgrades. »
People who cannot always work full time, but who may be of interest to companies. “Handi Conseils can, for example, provide an artisan with an experienced executive secretary affected by a disability, who will work ten, twelve, fourteen hours depending on their needs. We offer pre-accounting, administrative management, quote reminders, everything that corresponds to tertiary activities, and we also respond to calls for tenders from administrations, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, where we manage the Cerfa documents,” continues Olivier Laurain. “Enedis, for example, asked us for a person 20 hours a week for a year, to record waste management in software. This also allows these large groups to meet their objectives in terms of employing disabled people. »
We are already recruiting
“We will rely on a digital collaborative platform, equipped with artificial intelligence, to connect our customers and our employees. Our customers will have contact on their phone with a real professional assistant, whom we have helped to bring up to speed if necessary: it is real employment support. »
“We are also Qualiopi certified, and we offer skills assessments to disabled people who are looking for an activity. We work on their professional project with them, depending on their disability,” adds Olivier Laurain.
Handi Conseils will join the Digital Campus incubator on November 18, for a period of one year. “Which leaves plenty of time to create the Lot-et-Garonnaise company, and we will already be able to offer services. Individuals with disabilities who are looking for an activity can contact us now on our website, https://handiconseils.com or send their application to [email protected] »
