Two passengers in a vehicle, aged 23 and 40, were injured in an accident involving a car and a top truck, Chemin de Bolchet, in Caissargues this Monday, October 28.
This Monday, around 5:45 p.m., in Caissargues, firefighters rescued the victims of a collision between a car and a road top truck, Chemin de Bolchet.
According to the police's initial findings, the car left the road quickly and did not see the road top truck arriving. The violent side impact caused both passengers in the car to suffer serious injuries. One of the victims, stuck in the vehicle, had to be extricated.
Car passenger still hospitalized
A 23-year-old man was transported by trauma emergency services to the Carémeau hospital center in Nîmes. And the second injured, a 40-year-old man, suffering from multiple trauma, was taken care of by a team from the Smur de Nîmes and transported to the Carémeau University Hospital.
The driver of the car finally got out during the night. The second passenger in the car, whose vital prognosis was in jeopardy this Monday evening, is still hospitalized. The various screening tests that were conducted turned out to be negative.
