Marc Boutruche, mayor of Quéven and vice-president of Lorient Agglomération in charge of housing, succeeds Hortense Le Pape, deputy mayor of Vannes, as president of Morbihan Habitat (social landlord born in January 2023 from the merger of Bretagne Sud habitat, Vannes Golfe Habitat and Lorient Habitat). The board of directors approved it on Tuesday October 16.
Marc Boutruche, former president of Lorient Habitat, will exercise this rotating role for a period of 18 months, until March 2026. Marie-Hélène Herry, departmental councilor who was president of Bretagne Sud-Habitat before the merger, is, elected vice-president of Morbihan Habitat. She should take the presidency from March 2026 to March 2028, the date of the departmental elections.
“This function is already organized collectively”explains Marc Boutruche.
Erwan Robert remains the general director of the social housing office.
An update will be made to the press on the situation of Morbihan Habitat at the end of the next meeting on November 4.
