A body recovered from the Meuse between Revin and Fumay

The Revin gendarmerie received an alert on Wednesday May 29, 2024, around 5 p.m. A man’s body was seen in the Meuse, between the Saint-Joseph de Fumay dam and the town of Revin.

A boat mobilized

The Givet divers operated in a boat, on the river, starting from the Bois-Bryas district. They sailed towards Fumay.

The body was recovered around 7 p.m. An autopsy must be carried out. The divers were accompanied by other firefighters from the rescue centers of Haybes, Bogny-sur-Meuse, Givet, Charleville-Mézières and Revin.

A man disappeared on May 21
