Pollen allergies: almost all of France is classified as red for grasses, except the Nord and Pas-de-Calais

RRecently, we did an article on places to take refuge if you want to travel far from pollen. We talked about Dublin and Portugal, in particular, but we should have talked about the Nord and Pas-de-Calais!

According to the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network, the risk of allergy remains high (red) this week across almost the entire country except in the Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Normandy and part of Brittany (thanks to the relatively rotten for the month of May).

The pollen season resumed in February and it is mainly grasses that are bothering those allergic to pollen this week in France. In the Nord and Pas-de-Calais, the level remains average (yellow) for the moment.

Some tips for allergy sufferers

– Ventilate the house at the end of the day to prevent grasses from coming in during the day

– Wear sunglasses outdoors

– Do not sleep with the window open if possible if the bed is close to the window

– Wash your hair often to eliminate pollen (preferably before going to bed)

– Avoid driving a car with the window open or riding a bicycle.
