In 2023, Restos du coeur distributed 1,426,000 meals to more than 10,000 Costa Ricans. Actions made possible by the movement’s approximately 850 volunteers. But today, the association lacks volunteers, pushing it to take stock in an attempt to attract more.

Currently, the movement is looking for volunteers throughout Côtes-d’Armor in order to compensate for this lack of volunteers. The priority: finding volunteers for Plérin, where the association’s departmental warehouse is located. On the program, simple missions: prepare orders, arrange pallets, put away stock and carry out handling.

Need staff for Monday, Thursday and Friday

Ranging from one to three times a week, these missions are described as adapting to the volunteers’ availability. However, the association specifies that they need as a priority of staff for Monday, Thursday and Friday. A few principles must be respected: new volunteers must simply know how to work in a team, listen and obey health and safety rules.
