This is a first in Tinchebray (Orne). This weekend of Saturday 1st And Sunday June 2, 2024 The women’s salon will be held. At the initiative of Marie-Laure Mahéo and Élodie Brunet, this show will bring together 25 exhibitors over the two days.

Make duplication known

The idea germinated following a REMARK from Marie-Laure’s daughter, to her mother: “you are not alone having two jobs. Why don’t you get together.” From then on, Marie-Laure and Elodie became closer, because their daughters are in the same class.

After several contacts, in conjunction with the municipality, things fell into place and requests tributary. The choice is based on a theme, that of raising awareness of the work of women under VDI status (independent home salesperson) or in self-employment, while introducing the products offered.

“So that the woman takes care of herself”

This innovative salon will also offer activities such as hairdressing, artistic makeup, board games or the presentation of a Sun cosmetics device.

For the occasion, Marie-Laure also created badges, and a logo representing a woman’s silhouette, which can be used again.

Ultimately, it is a living room for women to take care of themselves, to relax and treat themselves. A weekend focused on well-being.
