The French Theater of Toronto presents Deceits of Scapin through June 1 at the Berkeley Street Theater.

This great classic by Molière is produced in the Queen City by the company L’Éternel Été, specially come from France to play in front of students and the general public of Toronto, 353 years after the first performance at the Théâtre du Palais Royal, in Paris, on May 24, 1671.

What I really like about this play is the generational conflict. […] This is to show how generations who do not understand each other are nevertheless very close. Children are future fathers, and fathers were children […] there are few things that separate us despite the fact that we understand each other little. »
