Villefranche-de-Rouergue. An exhibition to discover at the Cavagnac house

At the invitation of Aurore Carpentier and Fabrice Roques who acquired the Cavagnac house a few months ago and who are keen to revive the old Katja dance hall, the artist Ga. L took up his brushes after years of hiatus. A first exhibition for Ô-vivoir artiste which will call for others and a challenge for Ga. L who wanted to present new works, 2 and a half months being allotted to him. “My desire was to create emotions and show that I can do something other than beauty. Behind these paintings, there is an experience, things that touch me so much that I had to put them on the canvases like a form of necessary enforcement, a derivative…” The whole thing is heterogeneous, singular, multiple… and challenges each and every one of us. The “Diversions” exhibition can be seen until November 3, 2024, Thursdays and Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., 9 rue Jacques Borelly in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. A great opportunity to chat with Ga. L who welcomes the public. Contact: [email protected]
