“Pink October” celebrates its 31st anniversary in 2024. The event symbolized by the pink ribbon emphasizes organized screening, with the National Cancer Institute. The information and awareness campaign which takes place throughout the month of October has the slogan: “Stronger together!”.
On the occasion of Pink October, initiatives are multiplying to remind people of the seriousness of this disease and raise women's awareness of the importance of screening. Pink October is also an opportunity to answer the questions of women and health professionals on screening methods adapted to different levels of risk and to particularly target women who are far from screening to combat inequalities.
This Saturday, October 26, Aviron Sainte-Livrade is mobilizing for a good cause with 12 hours of relay on the ergometer! It will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ending with a friendly drink.
For the event, the club brought together all the members, friends and family. All donations collected during the day will be entirely donated to breast cancer research. Information on 07 83 52 49 64.
