The Water and Rivers of Brittany association (ERB) has published its classification of bathing waters. The Côtes-d’Armor rankings are not good, with 38 beaches among the hundred worst ranked in Brittany.

The association was based on public data, published by the European Environment Agency. There we find the reports from the Regional Health Agency (ARS) carried out in summer, over the last four years, on Breton beaches. The investigation focuses on the concentrations of two fecal bacteria: Escherichia coli (E. coli) and intestinal enterococci (EI).
