After the publication of the classification of beaches polluted by fecal bacteria, carried out by the Water and Rivers of Brittany association, mayors of Côtes-d’Armor react to this survey.

In Côtes-d’Armor, 41 beaches are classified “to be avoided or not recommended” by Eau et rivières de Bretagne. The association took several samples from June to September, on each beach. Data which are sometimes contradictory with those presented by the Regional Health Agency (ARS).
