A new wind is blowing through the NASCAR Canada series since Alan Labrosse took charge of the organization’s destiny. More professional, more serious, the series is clearly on the right track to develop. Initiatives never seen before are emerging. The most recent comes from Alex Tagliani (photo above) and his Tag Karting Academy which has just announced its partnership with NASCAR Canada for the creation of two concepts intended to propel emerging talents to new heights.

The first concept is a double program dedicated to the Rotax Senior category. Two races will take place on the Circuit Mont-Tremblant karting circuit. The winner of the NASCAR Canada Prize will be awarded a test drive in a Nissan Sentra Cup car, a national road circuit championship which presents 12 races annually in Ontario, Quebec and the United States.

The second concept, titled “Triple Crown”, will highlight a Shifter-class driver. These races will take place in Tremblant as part of the Coupe de Montréal and during the Ron Fellows Ontario Series weekend. The winner will this time have the exclusive privilege of a private test in NASCAR Canada.

“NASCAR Canada is proud to collaborate with Tag Karting at Circuit Mont-Tremblant. Our common objective is to encourage and support Canadian youth in Karting by promising them to develop and discover motor sports beyond their experience in this discipline to one day become a future NASCAR champion” indicated Alan Labrosse, president of NASCAR Canada.

“This partnership between the Tag Karting Academy and NASCAR Canada promises to push the boundaries of excitement and excellence in the world of racing,” added Alex Tagliani, who is competing this year in a partial program of events in the series, on behalf of Donald Theetge’s team.
