Three concerts and eleven DJ sets in no less than eight museums. This is what 24H SONO offers, the first edition of a musical marathon which takes place on Saturday June 1st. Initiated by the Association of Museums of Lausanne and Pully, this new free gathering invites you to discover museums in a different way.

How to bring together the twenty museums in the Lausanne region? If autumn is marked by Museum Night, the Association of Museums of Lausanne and Pully (AMLP) also wanted to offer a summer event. This is now done with 24H SONO, the first musical marathon which takes place this Saturday June 1st in eight different locations and on Couleur 3.

24 hours of non-stop music

A dozen artists will perform over 24 hours and what better way to start the day than a horizontal concert? At the Lausanne Botanical Garden, the hypnotic sounds of OSOMO will lull early risers from 6 a.m. At the Palais de Rumine, the captivating voice of Neuchâtel singer Giulia Dabalà will be followed by a DJ set on vinyls from Veveysan Mehdi Barclay.

Later in the day, the Valaisan Moictani will host the Pully Art Museum before making way for the Brazilian Modesta. From 7 p.m., hip-hop fans will head to the EPFL, and at the end of the evening, it will take place at the Bourg Music Club with the artists Janeen, Bò Bún and Eva May.

Apart from the evening at the Bourg, all concerts are free, as is access to the museums, given that it is the first Saturday of the month. A great way to discover museums in a different way.
