Eleven activities are scheduled: conferences, film screenings, running races, readings for children, dance workshops and much more, wrote the City of Lausanne on Wednesday in a press release.

The “LGBTIQ+ month of actions and visibility” will be inaugurated on Saturday during the opening of the (In)Visibles exhibition, with the co-organizing association Tou·te·x·s visible. To be discovered on the Grand-Pont throughout the month of June. Created by the Lausanne artist Line Marquis, the posters of this first edition will be exhibited in the streets of Lausanne, as well as previewed on the TL screens.

“In accordance with the municipal LGBTIQ+ strategy, we want Lausanne to be a city where all people feel respected in the public space,” declared Pierre-Antoine Hildbrand, municipal official in charge of LGBTIQ+ policy, quoted in the press release.
