Les Sables d’Olonne Vendée. A newcomer to Les HALLES: the oyster farmer “Pépites d’Iode”
Already installed in La Roche-sur-Yon, Luçon and Aiguillon-sur-Mer, “Iodine Nuggets” has just moved to the Grandes Halles des Sables-d'Olonne.
At its head is oyster farmer Térence Tenailleau, producer of Veillon oysters as well as, more original, prawns.
It also offers shellfish and crustaceans for sale.
During our visit, beautiful abalone – highly sought after for its finesse and taste – were found on the “Pépites d’Iode” bench.
As well as prawns (imperial shrimps) of which he is the producer.
