The Stade athletics runners will take part in the road event on Sunday in Saint-Omer.

It is a very distant trip that awaits the small delegation from the Stade Rodez athletics which validated the commitments following the achievement of the minimums imposed by the federation. Indeed, just like last year, the four athletes will have to cross to go to Saint-Omer, the sub-prefecture of Pas-de-, located in Artois, on the edge of the marsh audomarois. Parity respected with two women and two men on one of the starting lines on Sunday.

Gwladys Bouzat is not in the best shape

In the second event of the day, we will find side by side, Gwladys Bouzat, the junior since September 1 of Courir en Lévezou, double French champion over 10 km road and 3000m track, as well as the first year cadet Emy Dunet, of Athlé Vallon, for which this will be the first French championship. With her time of 17'51'', the Lévezou athlete could very well play a role once again, but she has been ill in recent weeks and should not appear in her best form. For the Vallon member, with a reference of 21'10'', it will above all be about living this first experience.

Benoit Dunet, who is also the coach and trainer of these athletes, did not hesitate for a single second to validate his ticket for yet another episode at the highest level. His time of 16'11'' can allow him to rank well in his category, that of masters 3 and we know his desire when he lines up at the start of an event. He will be in the fifth race of the day, before the last blood and gold, Paul Picard, takes the start of the sixth in the U23 hopefuls category. Having achieved 17'23'' to qualify, he will try to improve his record and perform as well as possible in a dense race.
