The political composition of the Boudry Municipal Council remains the same, but three new names are entering it. The General Council held its constitutive session Monday evening. The executive will always be made up of two radical liberals, two socialists and a Green. The outgoing Rita Piscopiello (PS) and Gilles de Reynier (PLR) are reappointed. Anne Macherel Rey (PS), Catherine Zeter (PLR) and Emile Dubois (Les Vert-es) are the new elected officials. The three parties had agreed in advance on the number of representative(s) for each of them. They then chose their candidate(s) internally. The election was made by acclamation.

A session which therefore took place in serenity after fewer heated debates in Boudry between the vote on the Basse-Areuse merger project and the municipal elections of April 21. The socialist elected to the Municipal Council, Anne Macherel Rey, explains “that the need to move on to something else was felt to try to improve the climate. »

The Boudrysan PLR were torn apart over the merger project rejected last November. Did they easily find common ground regarding the proposed candidates? The new liberal-radical elected official, Catherine Zeter, underlines “that there have been discussions, it’s democracy. There were several candidates who ran for office, hearings and then democratic elections within the PLR. »
