On Saturday June 1, 2024, the very first Sports and Leisure Day in Noues-de-Sienne will be held. A friendly and family day which, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will allow visitors to discover and try multiple activities offered in the Noues de Sienne area.

Free and open to all

» It’s a project we’re thinking about For 3 years. There have already been classic open days, but which did not appeal to the public. This first Sports and Leisure Day will not just be a line of stands where people can get information and register. Of course, we want people to be able to learn about everything that is happening (or almost) in the region, but above all that they can benefit from many free activitiesopen to all, proposed and hosted by members of the socio-cultural center, the ape of the school of music, dance and plastic arts, the ape of the Simone Veil school and the Jean Vilar college, the sports section of the college, associations, the municipality as well as our partners like the MJC of Vire, Mobylis, Planète Sciences Normandie of Caen… “, explains Anas Lamrabette, sports coordinator of Noues-de-Sienne.

25 workshops and events

Bringing everyone together to prepare and finding a common date to organize the event was not easy, but the day planned promises to be intense, with nearly 25 workshops and activities distributed from the Simone Veil school car park (Boulevard du Nord) to the socio-cultural center via the multi-activity room, the fairground car park… Accessible activities to all audiences ; very young children under 3 years old, children, teenagers, able-bodied adults or those with disabilities, seniors, etc. “.

School of music, dance and visual arts concert (morning and afternoon) – Noues’Vel Sienne concert (11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) – Dance workshop (11:45 a.m.) – Visual arts workshop (3 p.m.) – Cooperative games (afternoon ) – Senior fitness (morning) – Workshops for people with disabilities (morning) – Mario-Kart tournament (10:30 a.m.) – Board games (2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.) – Les grandes z’oreille – musical stories (3:30 p.m.)

Activity of partners and associations (all day)

Cycling course / getting back in the saddle – Sale of reconditioned bikes – Tips for riding safely – Bubble foot – Biathlon activities – Inflatable structures / climbing – Water rocket activities – Virtual reality headsets – Badminton activities – Football activities – Makeup workshop – Activities table tennis – Nordic walking – Tennis activities – Maze activities – Orienteering activities – Activities around the photo exhibition.

Refreshment bar and snacks on site. A card to be stamped at each activity as well as a quiz will allow participants to win some small gifts, after a draw at the end of the day.
