The end of the U17 match between Bouillargues and Caissargues had degenerated: heavy sanctions pronounced by the Gard-Lozère football District

Exchanges of insults and blows, the end of the football match between the U17s of Bouillargues and Caissargues had degenerated at the end of March. The sporting sanctions have fallen.

A football match in the U17 category between Bouillargues and Caissargues hit the headlines at the end of March. During added time, things got out of hand.

After a long and careful investigation carried out by a member of the Gard-Lozère District Disciplinary Commission, a hearing of all the protagonists led the said Commission to take severe sanctions following the confrontations.

12 year suspension for an educator

An educator from the Bouillargues club received the heaviest sanction for being guilty of brutality against the referee by slapping him, i.e. twelve years of firm suspension, until March 24, 2036.

A player from the same club will remain away from the field for six years for having also been guilty of violent behavior towards the game director.

The behavior of several US Bouillargues licensees led the Commission to impose sanctions of 16 matches of firm suspension against two players and 8 matches of firm suspension against another educator and another player.

Match referee suspended for two years

The attitude and behavior of the attacked referee turned against him. He was in fact suspended for a period of two years for having tried to take justice into his own hands, by responding to violence with violence and by making threatening and discriminatory remarks, in particular towards the parents of the players of the US Bouillargues.

These decisions are subject to appeal before the Gard-Lozère Football District Appeals Commission, within seven days from the day after notification of the decision under the formal conditions provided for in article 3.4. 1 of the Disciplinary Regulations of the French Football Federation.
