Launched in Nantes in the summer of 2022, Ozzak is a platform for the private sale of cinema tickets. With sixty partner cinemas on the national territory, the start-up is arriving in Vendée this year with already five cinemas (Luçon, Challans, La Tranche-sur-Mer, Jard-sur-Mer and Talmont-Saint-Hilaire) which improve the filling with the solution.

Concretely, Ozzak is an online tool directly connected to the cinema cash register. The application allows the operator to launch promotions on the screenings that they wish to boost, while allowing occasional spectators to benefit from discounts to which they do not usually have access.

“The cinema alone decides its programming on the platform”, specifies Sylvain Mante, co-founder of Ozzak. For their part, the spectator has access to an application and a website to reserve their cinema ticket at a lower cost. He adds : “Our business model is based on a bet on “success”. We are paid based on the number of places we sell. »

The company has five employees and has sold more than 45,000 cinema tickets since its launch. It claims 50,000 downloads, more than 30,000 people registered and 1,500 on the waiting list. Within three years, it is targeting 350 partner cinemas and wishes to develop in Europe, particularly in Belgium and Germany. For now, Ozzak is continuing its growth in Vendée and is in discussions with two other cinemas on the coast.
