The “Au petit bonheur la chance” bookstore will welcome this Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. the author Michel Danguiral, born in Aurillac in 1955, for a signing session of his latest work, “Double Jeu”, published this year published by Scripte d’Opale. This new novel is the latest opus of the adventures of Joy, a series written in collaboration with Michèle Armanet. Michel Danguiral has been collaborating with the latter since 2021, starting with “Le Tunnel de Pandorre”. Their partnership then gave birth to a trilogy consisting of “Dette de sang”, “Macabres aveux” and now “Double Jeu”. Through these stories, readers follow the breathtaking investigations of Joy, a police lieutenant with a tumultuous career. In “Double Jeu”, Joy, after a personal tragedy that occurred during her last investigation, decides to put her professional life on hold and retires to her native region, Cantal, far from the capital. Her tranquility is short-lived when she discovers the body of her neighbor at the foot of the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès dam, plunging once again into the whirlwind of criminal investigations.

Murielle Delagnes, the Capdenac bookseller, is delighted to welcome Michel Danguiral for this signing session. As usual, she will welcome readers with sympathy and good humor, offering coffee, tea and pastries to the curious who pass through the door of her establishment at 13 rue Carnot.
