Young tourists discover a corpse during an urbex session in the Oise

Dutch tourists discovered the body of a man while exploring an abandoned place in Noyon (Oise). According to the police, his body was in an advanced state of decomposition. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of death of the victim, whose identity is still unknown.

The lifeless body of a man was found in an abandoned building in Noyon (Oise) on Sunday May 19, 2024. As reported The Parisian , it was found by young Dutch tourists who were practicing urban exploration. Alerted, the police immediately went to the scene. They were joined by the Beauvais judicial police and the Amiens research section, note Oise News .

According to the gendarmerie, the body found was “in a state of advanced decomposition”. An autopsy must be carried out to determine the identity of the victim. An investigation was also opened to determine the cause of this man’s death. It was entrusted to the Compiègne research brigade, indicate our colleagues.

The man is believed to have been dead for at least two weeks.

According to the first elements relayed by News, the man would have been dead for at least two weeks. The premises in which his body was found by young tourists have not been occupied since 2012.

This macabre discovery is reminiscent of that which occurred at the beginning of May 2024 in the Var. A decomposing corpse was also discovered in a villa by a group of Urbex fans. The body is believed to be that of a homeless man who had occupied the abandoned house since last summer.
