Drivers from the Ile-de-France region or tourists on the loose, be careful: in the Yvelines department (78), a new speed radar has just appeared.

Autonomous radars have a secret: their reporting is not obligatory. In other words, drivers who are driving within its perimeter for the first time are unaware of their activation. And, for those driving above the authorized speed, it is then the guaranteed flash for the commission of a speeding violation. This will probably be the case for a certain number of road users if they do not pay attention to the new autonomous radar, installed on May 21 in the Ile-de-France department of Yvelines (78).

Back and forth, without warning

The device in question, reports the specialized site radars-auto.com, is placed precisely between Bouafle and the red light intersection of Flins-sur-Seine, on the secure route of the D113 between Aubergenville and Orgeval. And be really careful if you are driving in this area because, within this area, the speed is limited to 90 km/h in the overtaking lane towards Orgeval and… at 80 km/h towards Aubergenville. Finally, radars-auto.com points out that this autonomous radar flashes in both directions of traffic and that no dedicated sign indicates its presence: you have been warned!
