The Minister of Health grants $50,000 to Jonquière-Médic on the sidelines of the 38e fundraising campaign of the organization. Christian Dubé considers that this is a model which should serve as an example and be more recognized.

This amount will help maintain the operations of the non-profit organization offering home medical care to residents of the Jonquière borough.

I sincerely believe that local initiatives like Jonquière-Médic can help improve our health network.

A quote from Christian Dubé, Minister of Health

His colleague from the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), MP Yannick Gagnon, is delighted with this sum, but also with what he describes as powerful message support for the organization.

The representative of Jonquière is also the honorary president of this 38e fundraiser.

Since November, the six doctors at Jonquière-Médic have seen 2,726 patients. According to the organization, nearly 80% of them would have gone to the emergency room if they had not been able to obtain a consultation.
