The Abec association (Carentan Employment Area Association) works on a farm in the canton of Créances (Manche).

Employees undergoing reintegration renovate the farm to produce and harvest various fruits, throughout the seasons, over an area of five hectares. And in the newly created laboratory, they transform part of their harvest into grout And jams.

It’s red fruit season!

Right now, it’s the season for raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants and wild strawberries, sold on the markets of The Hague on Wednesday mornings and Gouville-sur-Mer on Friday mornings. Other fruits will be harvested, but like red fruits, they are grown in the ground and without chemicals by the Abec team.

A second Abec team offers its services to communities, businesses, associations, etc. for all maintenance work on natural spaces (mowing of rivers, maintenance of footpaths, wetlands, etc.) and green spaces, development of public spaces, work on small built heritage.
