Since 1968 Anne and Patrick Poirier, who have exhibited in the most prestigious institutions, have developed a protean and visionary body of work that reveals the fragility of civilizations, cultures and nature.
The colorful installation by Anne and Patrick Poirier launches a hymn to life, life in abundance. These two antique silver glass windows, Eros and Gaia, are part of the suite of mirrors created for the Palazzo Butera in Palermo (2018). They were shown for the first time by Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand in the exhibition Errances (2021) at the Domaine du Muy. These pointed mirrors, a contemporary echo of the bays of Saint-Séverin opposite them, reflect the image of the world in all its splendor.
