Le Grand BaZH.art, Breton arts and culture magazine broadcast on France 3aims to introduce people to a place and artists who make Brittany rich.

Thomas Fersen in Locquirec

This week, the show produced by Corentin Pichonfrom Ploumilliau, leaves for destination of Locquirec, meeting Thomas Fersen.

It is on this “land and sea” of inspiration that the artist composed several of his songs. A small seaside resort nestled on a rocky peninsula, where he lived for two years, and which he now shares with Paris, when he is not touring the roads of France and elsewhere.

Storyteller and melodist

Storyteller and melodist since 1993, Thomas Fersen has taken the time to build an original and personal body of work (11 albums) which occupies a special place in French song. He has multiplied his stage experiences, including several jubilant “Alone on Stage”, punctuated by monologues in verse of his own, between tales and fables.

At Patrick Ewen

This walk in this little corner of northern Finistère will also be an opportunity to meet the storyteller Patrick Ewen, storyteller, musician and folk song singer, as well as the sculptor Guillaume Castel, in Plouégat-Guérand.

In Morlaix

Finally, the cameras will go exploring the SEW in Morlaix, a cultural place dear to Thomas where music, theater and cinema combine. He will also offer a live performance in the sublime Italian theater of Morlaix.

Le Grand BaZH.art, season 9. Wednesday May 22, at 12:10 a.m. Available in replay on France Télévision until May 23, 2025.
