For the first time in her young career, 21-year-old swimmer Inès Delacroix, originally from Bohemia, finished the 2024 European Open Water Swimming Cup in first place in the general ranking.

She participated in all five events with, above all, this first podium achieved in the 25 km in Macedonia which will remain a good reward for me for all the work put in this season
explains the sportswoman. I learned a lot. I wanted to do all the stages this year to compete with the best European and world swimmers. Now, I know what I have to focus my work on for the next deadlines knowing that I am registered in the Los-Angeles 2028 collective. It’s still a long way off but we have to prepare now. This involves the next World Cup competitions where I hope to be in a top 10.
After Portugal, direction Hong Kong
After Portugal on October 12 (ranked 6e), the swimmer is flying to Hong Kong for a competition on October 26 and then to Saudi Arabia on November 22 and 23, 2024. I will surely participate in the French championships, in short course over 1,500 m, in Montpellier, at the end of the month. It’s a busy schedule but I have no choice to stay competitive. I would also like to point out that I am always looking for partners who would like to support me in my sporting project.
