A large-scale civil security exercise in Haute-Savoie

It will take place on Tuesday May 21 exclusively within the Annecy sports park, but part of it could be visible to the population from outside the sports venue.

This exercise should make it possible to test the systems for organizing the civil security response (ORSEC), the alert procedures as well as the coordination between the different actors in the context of their preparation for the games. Nearly 200 participants will be mobilized, all from the prefecture, the SDIS, the gendarmerie and the police. Some traffic disruptions are expected in the Annecy sports park area.
