Angry users denounce repeated delays on the TER line between Valence and the Drôme valley

Delays almost every day: users of the train line between Valence and the Drôme valley (TER 64) are fed up, because at the start of the year, getting to work on time is a miracle. Two users, Catherine Folliard and Laure Anne Hominal, therefore decided to take matters into their own hands. They went to meet other passengers, most of them traveling for work: 180 signed a petition to demand trains on time.

According to them, three reasons explain these delays: aging equipment, the inability for trains to pass each other and the obligation to wait for the sleeper train to pass – often late. “In our petition, we do not denounce the SNCF or the politicians, we simply say that we want it to work. it’s not possible for people who work, we are late four days out of five certain weeks”annoys Catherine Folliard.

“Many workers have stopped taking it, but arriving late in the morning can happen once in a while, no more. Same thing in the evening, those who have families, it’s not possible to have a hour and a half late, so they take the car back”testifies for her part Laure Anne Hominal, who says she clings to the use of the train, because she wants to defend this line.

The two women have so far not received a response from the SNCF nor from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, which finances the TER.
