The PM presents “Senegal 2050”, the public policy framework of the new authorities
The Senegalese Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, presented on Monday October 14 a document entitled “Senegal 2050” presented as the benchmark for the public policies of the new authorities elected at the head of Senegal last March.

The document is essentially based on the promotion of good governance, optimal national territorial planning, sustainable development, quality human capital, social equity, a competitive economy and African solidarity, explained Mr. Sonko during a ceremony held in Diamniadio (30 km from Dakar), under the presidency of Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
“We have taken the challenge of adopting an exemplary long-term development model, based on a strategic State which will promote the development of competitive sectors, viable poles with epicenter cities and a strong national private sector.“, he added.
“Our approach is based on a systemic transformation including greater responsibility of our fellow citizens here and in the diaspora“, underlined the Senegalese Prime Minister, adding that his country “can’t go back“but can leave again”good basics“, thanks to Senegal’s national development policy document which projects over the next 25 years.
