The Indian athletics delegation chose Romilly-sur-Seine in Aube, to prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Indian athletics delegation has chosen the town of Romilly-sur-Seine, in Aube, as a preparation center for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In total, six people will be welcomed (athletes and staff): four from May 21 to June 24, 2024, and two from May 23 to June 2.

Athletes will benefit from the equipment in three disciplines: high jump, long jump and triple jump. Their training will take place at the Barbin stadium, a new athletics track set up in the town, for an investment of 1.4 million euros.

They will be accommodated in the Nicey hotel, located rue Carnot and will have bicycles available to get around. They will also train in a downtown weight room, as requested by the team.

The Indian athletics team is therefore the fifth delegation to choose Aube to prepare for the Games. For now, five delegations from four countries have announced their arrival in the department, in Troyes: Brazil (gymnastics and Paralympics), China (athletics) and Japan (climbing). The Marne has attracted the British swimming, boxing, table tennis and trampoline teams.

For the Brazilian athletics team, it will therefore be Romilly-sur-Seine, stronghold of Coq Sportif, official equipment supplier of the French Olympic and Paralympic team.
