A kiwi in the oven, a raw golden chicken, a latex lobster… This is not the setting for a bad joke but that of the series Here it all begins broadcast since 2020 on TF1 . Usually filmed in the small Camargue, in the town of Saint-Laurent-d’Aigouzes, the soap opera has exceptionally relocated for a very particular plot: the Coupe de France de cuisine, broadcast since Friday May 10, 2024, at 6:35 p.m.

Two months earlier, in March, part of the team was in Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine), at the Palais du Grand large, to participate. “Viewers are used to the universe of the series, so leaving the castle, leaving the school, it’s a surprise for them, says Guillaume Husson, production manager on the series. But it’s very good. It allows for new discoveries, travel… Until now, we welcomed other schools to our home, within the school establishment, now it’s another region which welcomes some of the school’s students. »
