L’local residents protection association against the electromagnetic waves met one last time on May 7, 2024 in order to thank the mayor of Barneville-Carteret (Manche), David Legouet, for the actions he carried out with telephone operators.

His actions made it possible to relocate the antenna to the leaving the town on land belonging to Mr. André. On May 7, members of the association and elected found themselves at foot of the castle to see that the antenna had been dismantled and removed.

The association dissolved

All the members were able to discuss and retrace the different steps who allowed this happy ending: flyers in mailboxes to mobilize residentsTHE meetings to create the association, the different meetings with the mayor and representatives telephone operators without forgetting the numerous exchanges to find a home on the air far from homes.

With this great result, the association, no longer having any reason to exist, was dissolved in a friendly atmosphere.

When residents and the town hall work together, the result is there. It was a very nice collaboration and now the antenna is far from homes. It’s a great success.

David Legouet (Mayor of Barneville-Carteret)

The champagne was uncorked and everyone was satisfied to put an end to this collective adventure.
