La Tarnaise is the oldest sports association in Tarn. Born in 1883, it is affiliated with the French Gymnastics Federation and offers gymnastics activities to children and adults aged 15 months and over. Twenty-three volunteers and two dynamic and committed employees support nearly 390 members practicing baby gym, artistic gymnastics and acrobatic sports such as tumbling and trampoline.

Athletes are entered at all levels of competition from federal B to the National Elite category. In 140 years of existence, the association has transmitted the passion for gymnastics to thousands of children and has numerous departmental, regional, national and international champions. The latest in 2023 are Dorian Biosca, crowned French champion and Romane Selva, vice-champion of France in tumbling.

The club also qualifies two teams at the highest level: National Division 1 and 2. Anaïs Chollet Capgras is Occitanie champion in artistic gymnastics in 2023. This shows the solidity and excellence of the Vauréen club.
