Rabat – The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) takes part, on May 20 and 21, in a meeting at the House of Councilors and another at the House of Representatives on the Council’s opinions relating to tourism and the marriage of minors .

The President of the EESC Ahmed Reda Chami will participate, on May 20 and 21, in the work of these two meetings, within the framework of fruitful institutional cooperation and the complementarity of roles and functions between the EESC and the two chambers of Parliament, in accordance with to the constitutional responsibilities of each of these institutions, particularly in the study and monitoring of public policies in the economic, social and environmental fields, indicates a press release from the Council.

The conclusions of the EESC opinion on the theme “Tourism, a lever for sustainable development and integration” will be presented during the study day which will be organized on May 20 at the Chamber of Advisors by the temporary thematic group responsible for preparing the annual session to evaluate public policies in the field of tourism, specifies the same Source.

Likewise, the conclusions of the opinion drawn up by the Council, following a referral from the President of the House of Representatives on the theme “minor marriage and its impact on the socio-economic situation of girls”, will be presented on 21 May before the Committee on Justice, Legislation and Human Rights of the First Chamber, according to the press release.
